Elastoplast Second Skin Protection Spray Plaster for covering and protection of minor, superficial, dry everyday wounds such as scratches, cuts and grazes. Upon application, the product dries quickly to form an invisible, flexible and ultra-thin film to cover and protect the wound from dirt and water.

How To Use

Cleanse & Dry : First stop the bleeding and clean & dry the affected area e.g. with Elastoplast Wound Spray and a sterile compress. A clean wound is the first step to an optimal healing. Dirt and visible particles are removed and the risk of infection is reduced. In the case of spray plasters, a clean, dry wound is furthermore important to enable proper film formation.

Step-by-step guide for Spray Plaster

Shake well

Shake the can well.

Apply

Apply a light coating of the spray plaster from a distance of 5-10 cm.

Let dry

Let dry. Repeat if necessary. The plaster disappears gradually over time. For detailed instructions please see leafelt. Read leaflet before use.

Wound care routine

Step 1: Cleanse & Dry

First stop the bleeding and clean & dry the affected area e.g. with Hansaplast Wound Spray and a sterile compress.

Elastolast Second Skin Protection Spray Plaster can be used on minor, superficial, dry open wounds. Before application, it is important to stop the bleeding, then clean and dry the affected area, before the product can be applied.

However, the liquid bandages should not be used on deep, infected, bleeding or exudating wounds.

Is it possible to use a Wound Healing Ointment while using Elastoplast Second Skin Protection Spray Plaster?

Wound Healing Ointments are not to be applied when using liquid bandages such as Elastoplast Second Skin Protection Spray Plaster as they would compromise the film formation and performance of the plaster. Please make sure that your skin is dry and free of creams.
